Bonetto is a well-known Italian self-taught designer who loved jazz and played the drums skillfully. It had been the aspriration of him to create infinite objects such as machine tools, ski boots or calculators. Especially, he was interested in automobile interiors. This was the special fields where the combination of the stylistic continuity of material, form with dynamic and technical requirements was created by him. And then, in his collaboration with HeleH, Bonetto still followed that approach when design a handle called Polo.
The geometric shape of Polo handle stems from the modulation of a single oval section. Bending by 90 degrees, the handle is reminiscent the image of the lever.
The formal matrix is an oval with almost the same diameter as the rose.
The intricate geomatry is based on which the hand naturally adapts to the shape, as a result, this makes the handle more and more ergonomic and functional.
